Dollar shirts
What you need:
- Hands
- A dollar
How to make:
Step one: lay the dollar flat on a table with george washington facing upwards and fold it lengthwise (hot dog style so the sides meet evenly.Step two: Unfold the dollar leaving a crease in the middle. Fold each side a quarter of the way into the middle on the crease. Both edges should meet in the middle.
Step three: Turn your dollar over and fold the white of one end over. This will be the collar of the shirt.
Step four: Turn the bill over again. From this side, angle-in the two corners from the end you folded in the last step. The two points should meet precisely at the centerline. The angle is not terribly important, but should be about the same as shown in the photo.
Step five: Now take the bottom part of your dollar (opposite of the collar) and undo the quarter folds. Take the bottom and fold it up into the middle of the dollar like in the picture.
Step six: Fold both sides into the middle like you had them before (where both sides were meeting in the center. Take the corners of the folds and make a diagonal fold on the corners so they are facing outwards. These will be the sleeves so fold them as equal to each other as possible.
Step seven: Fold the dollar so that the sleeves fit under the collar. The collar will hold the bottom of the dollar in place.
It should end up looking like the picture at the top.
